PHOTOGRAPHY - ANGLES
High Angle: This angle shows me fragility and weakness.
Low Angle: This angle shows me majesty, power and an enormous size.
Slanted Angle: This type of angle shows me an unnatural pointof view / perspective. It also makes it a little bit more dramatic.
Eye level angle: It shows the man watching you with the same amount power as you.
Aerial shot: view from above. From a bird's eye view. Taken from a plane , helicopter...
Close up shot: This angle is used to imply intimacy between the characters and the audience. It's used to reveal the character's thoughts and feelings.
Long shot: Takes the picture from a distance. It shows the whole setting.
Medium shot: It's usually from targets head down to his/her torso. It shows the face and the body of the characters.
Wide shot: Includes a lot of visual information for the audience to set the scene.
A two shot: Usually used in TV dramas to show 2 friends, side by side, to show a relationship...
The point of view shot: You can usually see the feet or the hands of the actor. It shows you his/her point of view.
